An Invitation to Empowerment: Join Our Six-Week Healing Circle
Hello! It's Dee here.
In these uncertain and ever-changing times, I've been reflecting deeply on what's truly important. I've decided to stay in my lane—a lane dedicated to empowerment, support, and uplifting women just like you. My lane is about being there for you, right where you are.
If you're receiving this by mistake or if my message doesn't quite resonate with you, no worries at all. But if you're curious, I invite you to stay—I have some heartfelt thoughts to share.
Let's imagine we're meeting for the first time, even though some of us have shared deep connections over the years. It's so important to continually re-center ourselves and reconnect with our core, no matter how many times we need to throughout our journey.
We change, and I'm so grateful for that. I've certainly changed, too.
From the very beginning, I felt a fierce calling to help women heal and empower themselves. I started my career as a counselor, passionately working to give voice to those who didn't have a voice. In the mid-'90s, I worked with women who were breastfeeding their babies—a time when they often went against the grain of mainstream society with little support. In my early 20s, I was determined to make a difference through the mother-child bond. I supported moms from all walks of life, taught nutrition classes, and explored various therapeutic models and communication styles.
In 1996, I began facilitating women's empowerment circles, and it has truly nourished my soul to do this circle work. Creating a safe, sacred space for women to come together, share, and uplift one another has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my path. I'm currently facilitating a sister circle in Western North Carolina, and if you're interested, I would love for you to join us.
Like many of us, my life has taken some twists and turns along the way. I ventured into the world of film and television, working in that industry for about a decade. It was a period of reinvention, embracing new challenges within that career field. Throughout it all, I continued empowering women, coaching them, and being a passionate supporter and advocate for women's emotional health. My commitment to uplifting women remained the constant thread weaving through every chapter of my life.
I became a certified life coach, though the term "coach" doesn't fully capture what I do—I don't entirely resonate with it. While I hold the certification, I see myself more as a gentle guide. My purpose is to support you where you are, helping you uncover your own truths and tap into your greatness, fostering growth through compassion and understanding.
After facing some of the most challenging years of my life—being ostracized by my family for being gay, legal struggles with my mother, a painful divorce, and the loss of my home—Sapphic Coaching emerged from the depths of my soul. These experiences completely deconstructed me, as any profound initiation does. I was resilient, but it was much harder than I let on. Can you relate?
Throughout this journey, I've realized that empowerment is my true calling. My purpose is to uplift women, to stand beside you as you navigate your own path.
I've had the privilege of working one-on-one with incredible women, facilitating group programs, and witnessing them break free from the constraints that society and other influences have imposed on them.
I'm excited to announce that beginning in January, I will be hosting a rotating six-week Empowerment Healing Circle. This is not just a course; it's a sacred space where we can come together to heal, empower, and support one another.
Commitment and Registration: I require a commitment for the full six weeks, as this journey is a profound commitment to yourself. These circles will be limited to 10 women, allowing us to do deeper work within a more intimate and supportive environment. The registration link is provided below.
Donation-Based Participation: The circle is donation-based, with a suggested contribution of $20 per session, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Your presence is what truly matters.
Accessibility: If you do not live in Western North Carolina or cannot attend in person, there will also be Zoom circle options available, so you can join us from wherever you are.

Looking ahead, I'm eager to dive deeper into areas like emotional intelligence and mindfulness practices. I'm passionate about helping you cultivate inner peace and resilience.
With all the words I've shared here, I want to leave you with this:
What do I truly stand for, now and always?
Supporting you where you are
Giving voice to those who feel unheard
Living with integrity and wholeness
Embodying aliveness in every moment
Showing up with radical presence
Honoring our sovereignty while weaving strong connections
Letting go of the comparison game and celebrating our unique journeys
Embracing the wisdom of aging with grace and vitality
Body acceptance in every way, loving ourselves as we are
Embracing the spark, the magic, and the wonder of it all
I know that these words may echo sentiments you've heard before, but they come from the depths of my heart. My hope is that you can feel the genuine intention behind them.
Whether we've known each other for years or are just beginning to connect, I hope this message resonates with you. I look forward to the possibility of sharing space, experiences, and stories together as we continue on this journey of growth and self-discovery.
You matter to me. Your presence here, reading this—it matters. Thank you for YOU.
Warmly,
Dee
