You Deserve to Be Seen, Heard, and Felt
Hello Brave Ones,
Let’s begin with a question that might feel uncomfortable: When was the last time you allowed yourself to fully take up space?
I’m not just talking about physical space—though that matters too. I’m talking about emotional, energetic, and spiritual space. The space to be seen for who you are, heard for what you believe, and felt for the depth of your experience.
If you’re like most women, you’ve been taught to shrink. To apologize for being “too much.” To make yourself smaller so that others can feel comfortable. You’ve been conditioned to believe that taking up space—your rightful space—is selfish, aggressive, or unnecessary.
But here’s the truth: You were never meant to be small.
This week is about the audacity to take up space—to stop minimizing yourself, to stop diluting your presence, and to stand unapologetically in your power. Because you deserve to be seen. You deserve to be heard. And you deserve to be felt—fully, deeply, and without apology.
Why We Learn to Shrink
Shrinking doesn’t always look like silence or submission. Sometimes, it’s subtle:
It’s softening your words so you don’t seem “too harsh.”
It’s holding back your opinions in fear of being labeled difficult.
It’s second-guessing your worth before you even step into the room.
This conditioning isn’t accidental—it’s the result of generations of systems built on the belief that women should be small, agreeable, and easy to manage. We’re taught that confidence is arrogance. That ambition is selfish. That boldness is unwelcome.
But those messages? They’re lies. Lies designed to keep you from stepping into your fullest power.
And it’s time to let them go.
Unfiltered Moment
Imagine this:
You walk into a room, and all eyes turn toward you.
Your first instinct? Shrink.
Pull back your shoulders. Lower your gaze. Make yourself smaller so you don’t take up too much space.
But not this time.
This time, you stand tall. You let your shoulders square, your spine lengthen, your chest open. You hold that gaze—steady, unapologetic. You don’t apologize for being there. You don’t shrink for anyone’s comfort.
And in that moment, something shifts.
You feel the weight of every time you were told to be quieter.
The echoes of every “You’re too much” you’ve ever heard.
The burden of every time you’ve swallowed your voice just to keep the peace.
And you decide: Not today.
Today, you let yourself be fully seen. Fully heard. Fully felt.
It doesn’t come with ease—it comes with fire. Your heart might race. Your hands might tremble. But every beat of that discomfort is a reminder that this is your space.
You don’t shrink.
You don’t explain.
You just are.
And that’s more than enough.
